    I can’t imagine anyone being a fan of this idiot. And the owners should 100% not have to pay these guys if they don’t play. If I’m Durant I’m taking off on this pussy multiple times until he’s afraid to come near practice facility or building

    It's easy to dismiss back problems if you're a monkey-brained fool like Smith who dioes nothing but sit on your ass and talk about everything you know nothing about. If he were making millions playing ball, he'd be as cautious with his health as Simmons is.

    Simmons may singlehandedly ruin the CBA for the players. The owners secretly love this. Look for changes in the way contracts are guaranteed in the NBA the next time they have to negotiate.

    What exactly is Simmons getting paid for? A pay stipulation is perfectly OK. Something like Base salary $X, plus $Y for each game played.

    Better response is fan boycott. Why pay for this shit? Why buy a ticket when you might be seeing Developmental League players?

    That's funny - I hadn't even watched the clip, but he's 100% right. There's no way the owners will not use this as a tool to grind the players.
