    They're definitely related.

    1. A while back, when I tried to sign up with SBG, when I completed their sign up form and clicked Submit, it navigated me to BetNow and created an account there. When I chatted with SBG to find out why it did that, they said that they were no longer supporting US customers, and that I needed to play at BetNow instead.

    2. In the recent past, Optional has said that SBR is refraining from rating BetNow due to their association with another book with a negative history.

    Put the pieces together. It's very common for books to be related but they deny it for whatever reason(s). In this case, it may at least be partially an attempt to wipe the slate clean through rebranding.

    If it was allowed in more countries.....they are geo restricted to some scandic countries and few more

    When you go on SBG now, they actually refer players to both Youwager (first) and BetNow(Second)
