Paul in real trouble with the promotion, I think.
Not so sure the youtube crossover is succeeding (anyone have any numbers or info on that) and Paul doesn't seem very marketable, like you'd think.
That presser was atrocious, can't imagine any promoter would want to go through that again.
This assault deal could be the end of Paul and an excuse for Triller to cut him loose.
Want to bet the farm on Ben, hard to judge his motivation. Big money and he has little to no give a penetrate in his body. Getting bodied wouldn’t bother him one bit especially if he gets a fat pay day out of it. Secondary thoughts, he has a wrestling academy with young kids who likely watch the YouTube videos of his opponent and brother, they are clowns, maybe Ben is motivated to drop this boy as a way of guiding his students to a better role model. Plus he plays disc golf... sport of champions in my opinion. Man, big dog money in a spot like this really makes a guy wonder

I watched the whole thing. Its really sad in a lot of ways.
I bet on Ben last week. If Jake Paul can't beat Askren, his platform should be over. After reviewing the shots Ben took from Lawler, and still got a stoppage, I placed my bet. Paul can't throw shots like Lawler. Even if he could, the fat gloves will dissipate the effect. I'll side with the guy who has been in deep water before. Paul has heavy feet and atrocious defense. Ben is not a striker at all, but has a champion's heart. We'll see!

This chick is very nieve and should have seen the writing on the wall. She said the dude was bringing different chicks in his bedroom and banging them daily.. Why did she think for a minute he wouldn't do the same to her?

Ben training with Freddie Roach sold me that he was taking it seriously until GSP said Ben only did it for one week. That doesn’t seem very serious to me.
How you think Ben would have made out with Robbie if Ben had to straight up fight him? This logic keeps having me shake my head. Once again i repeat. Ben can’t take Paul down like he could Robbie for Christ sakes. I don’t care how tough Ben is if he had to keep standing with Robbie he would have gotten his head knocked off.

I completely agree with you about Ben vs. Lawler. But Paul is no Robbie Lawler. Paul wouldn't last 30 seconds in a boxing match against Lawler.
Ben has stated that he is going to get in close, make the fight ugly, and try to frustrate Paul. That seems doable. I could be wrong. I didn't bet the farm. But Paul is a joke until he steps in against any boxer.
...and I will NOt be purchasing the PPV.

I know but Askren is a pure wrestler and have you ever seen him box? He comes forward mostly with hands up and with zero head movement and looks to immediately double leg take down his opponent in MMA matches..
I can't see Askren out boxing the taller guy in this one. Maybe though, who frigg'n knows? Askren will leave his chin out there that's all I know.
If Askren really gets rocked standing I could see him going for double leg take down and getting DQ'd maybe.

Between the promotion itself, the hand-picking, and whatever other inner workings exist, it's going to take a miracle for Askren to win, I'm now thinking. As always, anything can happen, but I absolutely cannot see Askren knocking him out. I also can't picture a scenario where Askren gets the nod in any kind of close fight.
But I have no idea if Paul can get a KO (I'm leaning no) or decision. And as mentioned above, I definitely can see a possible DQ along the way. Askren is getting his money.. bad boxing skills and potential lack of any motivation don't sound like a good combo.
Askren boxes like a wrestler, not good for him..
Benny has no foot work, methodically comes forward with zero head movement, looping punches you can see coming a mile away.
Ben is in trouble I think in this one even though he's facing a bum.
