    Bruins -129

    +5.3 units in the NHL

Im in the Bruins at -129. Philadelphia had a solid season but they were much better at home, the shorter training camp and preseason also favors younger teams.

    Went the other way today

    Philly for a unit

Also locked in a Futures on Philly +1300 to win it all this year

This is not a fade, by the way, and wouldn't surprise anybody for Boston to win today and the whole thing.... however it has been announced Tukka Rask is out of the lineup, at least for today...

I see no value on the Flyers at 13 to 1 to win anything. They weren’t consistent on the road all year, their whole season was about how they played at home, and they won’t have any home teams. They might have to play Tampa bay and Boston too, they should be 30-1.

Islanders are 25 to 1 right now

There are several options above 30 to 1 and a couple higher than 40 to 1

Philly at 12 or 13 to 1 today depending where you look

They should be 30-1? Come on guy. They beat Boston 2/3 one of those in Boston. They match up good with every team in the league except TB and maybe Colo.

If Hart can be as good as he is touted they will be a tough out.

    The road/home thing means nothing.

I do think Boston is the play today though.

They aren’t in the same tier as Tampa bay and Boston and were a bad road team all year. They won’t get a single home game in the playoffs. They should be 30-1. They may have to beat Boston and Tampa just to get to the Stanley cup.

Bostons and Tampa top 3 players and their goaltending are better than Philadelphia.

Morino aren't you from the Philly area?

I'm a lifelong flyers fan. This team while they don't have an incredible talent like mcdavid are very solid. Home ice I repeat to you means nothing because no one else has it.

I live in the philly area but I’m not from here. This team could not win on the road consistently all season. And the top 3 players and goaltenders are better on Tampa and Boston. Philly will be a pickem first round.

I agree the team was solid, but they weren’t top tier and weren’t consistent in the road. Goaltending is critical in the playoffs, hart and Elliot aren’t on the same level as other contenders.

those seeding games are tough. no home ice so not sure of desire by certain teams to try hard.

Yeah these seeding games are all about motivation, Colorado was much sharper all game, blues look like they don’t care about seeding, which makes sense since they didn’t care about home ice last year either.

who cares if they weren't good on the road overall? they were 19-6-1 since january 8th coming in. that includes a 7-2-1 mark on the road.. knocking off teams like the blues, jackets, panthers, caps twice and losing to the pens in OT. they were the 6th best team in the league and closing in on others.

My point is that the Blues don’t care about seeding the same way they didn’t care about home ice last year. Blues were flat most of the game.

That was 4 months ago, they haven’t been a road team the last 2 years, I look at 2 year more than 9 games.

can look at it whichever way you prefer. the flyers team that was on the ice before the season stalled and is currently out there now is nothing like last season, or even the beginning of this one.

restart was always going to be a disaster for the bruins

like when you are running good at the BJ table and they bring in a new dealer with poison fingers

A couple really meaningless games, flyers are not an elite team.

The flyers beat 2 teams that didn’t care, Boston and washington, and then Herman gets hurt in the first period, they aren’t elite.

na, not at all. just, you know.. 21-5-1 in their last 27 games.. basically top 3 standings and goal differential. 7th in goals, 7th in goals against. na, they're pretty weak overall.

Yeah they are a playoff team not an elite team.
