Ten cents each here. I always return them, easy to bring back $20 bucks and very little hassle.

Straight into the recylce bin and they pick them up curbside. Watched a program on Waste Management and the money they make off people's recyleables. Its sick.

We recycle most everything. County sends trucks up to our area once a week, we take the glass, plastic, tin, cardboard, etc to the pickup point. Only thing the county doesn't take is aluminum, but the Lions Club has a bin in the small local grocer's parking lot, so we contribute that to them.

County also gives away free mulch which is cool. Builders clear a lot, take the trees to the drop point, they mulch the stuff, I drive by and get my pickup filled several times a year.

Our bottles and cans are worth 10 cents. The company that delivers my beer gives me $2 for 24 bottles. Basically I don't pay for delivery with every second order and my bottles go back to the beer store and are recycled. Anything that has no deposit goes to the curb in my Blue Box.

Well we just have to recycle as there is no deposit and if you wanted to make money you'd have to save up a ton, bag em, take em miles away and for not that much money. I did when I was a kid and did pretty well because recycling wasn't "in" at the time and you could still get decent money for aluminum.

They better kick back your cut. Run your neighborhood with a tight fist, or next thing you know, those same guys taking shit from your trash will be eating out of your fridge, and borrowing your wife.

I've heard that recycling is useless if you don't take the caps off of bottles. Any truth to this?

Sometimes I put empty cans in the recycling that they pick up on the curb. Other times I get too drunk and just throw them in the trash.
