    Five Guys Burgers & Fries

I just found out there is a 5 Guys Burgers about 20 miles from my house. I have never eaten at 5 Guys, Is it worth the drive? From what I hear this place is burger heaven. Will it live up to the hype or is it overrated? Should I just hit up In & Out which is right down the street?

Its all the same, a burger is a burger period

You would not difference between a top ranked place or a small joint in your local town

Five Guys is awfully expensive for what you get. They recently opened one in East Lansing. I tried it and it was nice, but Crunchy's, the local dive bar, has tasty burgers for half the price.

I tried one that opened nearby because I'd heard good things. Was definitely good but over $12 for burger, fries, coke; more than twice as much as In n Out.

Not true. Ever eat at FudRuckers? Their burgers trump all.

on a 1-10 scale, about 8.5. meat is good, not great. huge selection of toppings. buns OK. they give u way too many fries (that's a good thing for some). unlimited refills on soft drinks. huge chain that began in the d.c. area. i believe former redskin kicker mark mosely owns a franchise and is also in charge of franchising.

They got a restaurant by my fathers house, the quality of meat is definitely better than most and you wont get a greasy mess with a lot of filler. But Id rather a buffalo burger from ted montanas. mmm buffalo meat

I dont get it. I was so excited to have a backyard Burger in town & these coksukin fukin college kids couldnt eat there enough to even keep it in business

Extremely good, very satisfying, and worth atleast a try but still -EV compared to being able to make an equally delicious burger at home with any kind of skill.

Backyard Burgers sounds like something made out of roadkill...maybe opossum or raccoon.
