But the fictions spread by the Red Herd, inspired and legitimized by the White House and FAUX-News, and, for the most part, abetted by Red state governors, have had their impact. It’s “fake news”, it’s “liberal lies”, it’s “just a bad cold”, so go back to work and party hardy – with the effect that the American South is committing slow-motion Coronacide, wearing a happy face all the way!
