    Steve Perry was very SOLID Cincy for Rock in the above post as mentioned...


    Off the Top of mind for Rock and Roll is Chris Cornell for me.. So many though.. Axl Rose could hit some highs also..

    ^^ Floyd and Zep were musical original phenomenons at the time but I don't put either in the top ten for vocals. Rolling Stones the same..

    Great original songs and song writing.. Creative music origination second to none probably still to this day!!! Those 3 all legendary bands for rock and roll!!!!

    I like those bands much better than The Eagles but Don Henley has to be up there.

    Timeless voice.

    McCartney as well of course and probably Lennon as well, and you can't not include Thom Yorke.

    I love Guns N Roses and Axl was a terrific frontman but if we're specifically talking lead vocal talent, I don't place Axl anywhere near the top. There's more to singing than just hitting high notes and Axl struggled to execute his own songs in a lot of instances. He's got an iconic voice, I'll give him that... Very erratic live singer though.
