Recommendations For Traveling Outside The Country

Last year went to France and Spain. Trying to get out of the country again this summer, just not sure where to go. Where have you guys gone and tell me some about it. Thinking about Japan because of non stop flights and not too far. South East Asia is a place I'd like to go, just not sure I want to go that far.

Libya is beautiful in the summer. I’ve also heard Aleppo is to die for late summer, early fall.

Have some friends that enjoyed a trip to China. It's safe and the people inside the country actually have a very positive view of America and it's culture.

If you are considering Southeast Asia then do it, it’s awesome. Still on the cheaper side relatively, easy to travel and you will meet all sorts of people from all over the world.

everyone who goes seems to love japan and india. india is pretty big culture shock and good chance you get sick (even people who got sick love it).

people are simply blown away fascinated with india

japan has great mix of very cultural tourism and mass-market glitzy tourism. something for everyone.

i went to china on very high end business trip. didn't like it that much. but was awhile ago and everyone is different.
i was going to suggest spain as no-brainer, but you've been.

thailand is great "introduction to southeast asia". very interesting and i presume still quite cheap.

Might not consider Japan now, realized it will be close to 100 degrees in the summer.

Came up with these, anyone been?

Thinking the area around Vienna, Prague, Budapest and possibly Croatia.

Possibly Costa Rica and maybe Ecuador. I heard there are a lot of little islands off the coast of Ecuador. Curious to look into the other countries around Costa Rica, possibly Panama and Nicaragua.

Scotland and Ireland. Don't really have a huge interest in going here, but would be non stop and short trip to get to.

    Greece and all their islands.

Also thinking about Mexico, been a few times but don't really want to go to any of the big resort areas.
