    i believe it originated from flyingillini posting "no mames guey" a lot

    he posted quite a few spanish phrases for a while, some of which also caught on to certain degrees

    but guey became widespread and is now here to stay

    i like it, it is cool

    almost all SBR slangs and words usages are cool

    it could be worse, we could all be calling each other "boo" or "boo boo" which i would love to see happen but which i am sure most posters would hate
