as much as I respect Pitts roster, as a Cardinals fan
(the team that doesn't have to play one game to get in playoffs)
I would rather face the Pirates than the Cubs,
Lester has probs keeping runners honest but outside of that he is a tough Lefty
We already know what Jake and can do.. the remaining 3 and 4 guys on Cubs and Pitts are pretty much a wash
The lineups are also a wash....
the main reason why I dont wanna play the Cubs is because (if we play them and beat them)
it would be expected for reasons that span over a century.
When in reality, the Cubs easily could take Cards in a series this year
and know I'd have to hear 300 years of frustration come out of all the Cub fans that I speak to if the Cubs are the team to eliminate my beloved Birds

cubs got the better 1-2 starters, like their bats better with a full squad as well. really scare me against cole though and other elite sliders. cubs will beat the cards in a series, might be this year, might be next year, it will happen soon though. cubs fans are morons

yeah they are so consistently good.
Remember the Hedge Fund or whatever that SBR did.
