    No problems buckling up, but problems with speeding. I've gotten five speeding tickets in the last six months.

    Thank goodness for deferral. I even have two tickets in the same city, but one will be off deferral before my court date for the second. It says you can't be "convicted," so as long as I wait for the first deferral to expire, I'll be good. If I had one that said you can't have another "vioation," I'd be fukked and taking my ass to defensive driving.

    I drive a lot for my job, which requires me to speed more than I should, but I'm honestly just on a terrible run with that stuff. It's cost me close to $1,500, so I know I have to get this under control. The good news is I try my best not to ride dirty. I keep the blunts and green shit at home as much as I can.

    I got a ticket because I passed a speed trap as I was attempting to accelerate and make a lane change to get around a slow driver. Perfect timing for me to get screwed. These are the types of tickets I've been picking up lately. Just wrong place, wrong time shit.

    I actually mispoke when I said I got five speeding tickets. Four were for speeding, and one was for running a red light. I only ran the light because I was sitting in a left-turn lane, and the person in front of me milked the turn ... I mean, we're talking abut a guy who took at least 10 seconds to make a fukking basic left turn. Well, I'm not going to sit there at the light because the guy in front of me is either trying to be a dikk or is braindead. So I ran the light.

    Sure, I admit I shouldn't have ran the light. But I knew it was safe to do it, and I normally make it through the green light if the guy in front of me isn't so slow. That might be the most annoying ticket I've ever received. I know it's technically my fault, but why should I sit at a light twice in a row because someone in front of me is drooling from the mouth and doesn't know how to press their foot on the accelerator? I'm not taking that shit, but I suppose I should have. Instead, I had to take shit from a cop and pay for a ticket.

    I'm making a committed effort to drive more carefully now. I know I'm just burning money with this behavior.

    Damn, Grape, you gotta be careful with those parlays. GGL has a little bit of game and can play well on clay, and Wawa has been mostly underwhelming since winning the Aussie Open. He did win Monte Carlo, but he hasn't done too well outside of that event.

    Tough break.

    At least Papi came through. I'm rooting for the Sox to stop the skid today.
