    Is the there a store or restaurant nearby?

    Don't recommend driving if it is too nasty. Been there, done that came within touching distance of a semioverturned while sliding sideways down an off ramp before. Not a fun thing to do especially with two kids in the car (was very thankful alan was driving) but alas, just not worth it if it is undrivable...
