Maybe the most important thing in life is the ability to meet a stranger and be genuinely optimistic about the experience you might have with them. That's a tall order for a gambler, where the greatest among us are measured by the caliber of their scrutiny of what is and isn't possible. And when you start looking at people, real human beings, as though they could be casually labelled as +EV or -EV and by that either embraced or dismissed, all you do is begin the process of similarly devaluing yourself.
Live...laugh...love...dare to dream like a child again...greet everyone with a warm smile as though they might be your new best friend...
