    HVAC guy just took all my gambling profits and then some

    won 4500 yesterday, my air conditioner started on fire (!) so now of course i need a new furnace/ac - $7500

    a week or so ago the compressor on my A/C went....only 10 years old. cost 245 bux to fix on a saturday. No biggie, just kinda stupid to happen out of the blue, and in such a hot summer

    7500 is prob about right. might even be on the low side. If you lived in CT id give u a unit at cost. Or find a dented one at one of the supply houses and get it dirt cheap.
