    Wonderful Wednesday Morning SBR

Hopefully everyone from the bash is pretty much back into normal life mode and having wonderfully, glorious days!.

So, I suppose I will no longer grumble under my breath about Mr. Blondie determining what the freeplays will be used on after the parlay hit yesterday...

Another not fully awake day around here, but at least the kids made it off to school on time. I did wake up around 6 this morning to hammers and roofing material falling into a truck, not to mention the people walking through the yard. My neighbor has his own construction business and since they are replacing the roof of a house down the road they just walk back and forth.

Since we returned it has been nice enough to just have the windows open absolutely loving this as the fresh air is wonderful!

Question of the day (Two parts): Where did you place your first bet offshore at and what (if you remember was it on?) and What books will you be using this year for football?

As always plays are very welcome in this thread

Hey Blondie, my first offshore bet was in March of 1995. On UCLA in the final four...can't recall who they played. The bet was made with ESB!

will be with Heritage this fall

Awesome, I am partially curious to see how many are answered with books that aren't around anymore or ones that US players can't play at for the US posters that answer

    Anyone else besides Heritage?

    Good Morning Blondie!!

Got back from LV at midnight, return to "normal life" today. I'm always so disappointed when I wake up at home after a Vegas Trip

Already had about a gallon of coffee... windows open here too... so nice its cooled off!

My 1st online bet was at Sportsbook.com. Can't recall who it was on, but I'm sure it was NFL and probably sqaure as can be! I'm currently using 5dmes.

So glad we met & chatted @ the Bash Blondie! You & Mr. Blondie kept me laughing!

Can't remember my first bet, but was on Sportsbetting.com in 2004/2005'ish. Was something small, probably $10.

First was with BetUS, NBA season, don't recall the team. I pretty much just use Pinnacle for the majority of my bets, although I'm also funded at 5Dimes and Betfair.

Had a flyer from BOS (BetOnSports)come to house in 2001 I think, a week later made a bet for KC Chiefs -3....HIT!! .... 5Dimes is book of choice for NFL & College..has been for 6/7 yrs.....but I have a local who will undercut any book if I give him a chance almost 5 yrs now.

Great to hear! Alan woke me up last night to tell me it had won. Which woke up the giant St Bernard sleeping at the foot of the bed. I vaguely remember giving him a dirty look as I told him "that's great" and of course about that time the dog decides since I am awake he can jump up on the bed to play .

I started saying something about you to Alan last night, and he just gave me this blank look. Then after a few moment he said "Are you talking about Dennis the Menace"

    I about lost it

You now officially have a new name in my house

Haha got realize with his glasses on and the blonde spiked hair that's what Bigday reminded me of when I met him and since Alan went not knowing anyone at all, I am pretty impressed that he remembers a lot of the people - even if not by their actual posting names lol

First bet offshore was at oddsmaker, got a email for their freeplay offer. Ran it up by betting the JETS (HAHA THEY ACTUALLY WON SOME GAMES). No surprise I never got paid. My First (My own Cash) bet was at BetUS, when they didn't pay me I did a charge back & found SBR because of it.

So BETUS will always be a fond spot in my Heart for the horrible SwimSuit Calanders/Junk Mail & The fact they led me here.

Began betting at carib sports over 10 years ago, mostly compulsive gambling with few cashouts but I did make a few neteller withdrawls that were paid instantly and I hd the ATM and had cash in hand with minutes. Great Memory!

I will be using several for football!
