They need to take every person who is in these photos to the North Slope in January and make them walk around outside in sandals, no socks for at least three minutes. Once they come back inside and the badly frostbit toes are amputated, then let them see a photo of themselves walking around in sunshine, many wearing shorts, wearing furlined shoes. Silly fad over.
