Ron Paul raises $8 million in 3 months

Kind of a waste of money to be supporting a candidate that has absolutely not shot of winning the nomination much less the election.

Ron Paul raises $8 million in 3 months

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul says he raised $8 million in the last three months.

The Texas congressman said Wednesday that his campaign will report that sum when it files its fundraising report with the Federal Election Commission later this month. Paul also says his campaign has more than 100,000 donors.

Paul says "we are very pleased with that" and called his effort "pretty sound numbers."

Paul raised $4.5 million during the first fundraising quarter of his campaign.

It's also not a waste to the supporters that want their candidate's voice and ideas heard.

At least "The Good Doctor" refuses to take Pac money. They
    stopped approaching him long ago.....

I like the fact that he will heed Ike's advise concerning the Military/ industrial complex.
He WILL stop participation in both illegal wars and cut back the military.
NOT weaken the military..... but cut imbedded waste....bondoggle spending on
antiquated equipment and good ol' boy over the top contracts.

Don't see anyone from the Republican party calling Allied Van Lines
to make the trip to Penn ave.....Not yet.

Whys that sir. Is it because Obama plans on using some more of his Chicago politics type tactics to win a 2nd term? Everyone thought it was the booze talking when I told everyone on this forum that voting Demarcate would ruin this country and unfortunately I hate to say it but I feel I'm safe to say I was right.

Here is some sound advice for you sir... Vote, no better yet bet Romney and not only cash your ticket you can prove everyone wrong like I did way back when sir.

It was a cunning use of the internet and not cigar filled Chicago
    tactics that sealed his election.
Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back this far out,Sir.
..Still slighty more than a year to go.
Let's see who can truly emerge to lead
    us out of this morass.
We have been spiralling downward at a dizzying rate for the last decade.
    God help us all.

So what you're basically saying is that it's all Bush and Clinton's fault sir?

It was during a republicans presidency that got the economy into this hole, so don't pretend they are now our saviors. The democrats haven't done much to get us out of it either. There's way too much petty bickering back and forth between partys. Most people wouldn't put up with this childish behavior and selfishness with their children, but somehow it's tolerated with our elected officials. The republicans and democrats are simply two sides of the same dirty coin and there won't be any significant changes until the people unite and cast off the party politics and corruption that are inherit in the system.

Not at all ... The executve branch is merely the face of the downfall.
We have to thank the unregulated banks, mortgage lenders, insurance
companies, brokerage houses and oil speculators. These are the real culprits
that have all but destroyed our country and the rest of the international community.
The political leaders have merely tried to stop the out-of-control train.
But for the last decade they have only created friction on the tracks.

Am I wrong or is that the Mormon Chowder head?

If that's the guy I'm thinking of, that circus act probably wouldn't carry his own state.

I'm proud to say I donated an eye-drop of funds to the "best man" for the job.
    RON PAUL
And, will likely do it again.

I must be "no one" then...

I think Paul gets the nomination but he won't get elected as president. Money doesn't have SH*T to do with it either. Watch out for Palin!

I am a Ron Paul hater but I hope he wins so that people can see that he, as well as any President, isn't changing what's already in motion.

I don't care if you pray to a bag of lint as your god---but it is frightening that Romney could become president. Aside from the fact that he was once a liberal governor who realized he needed to change his leopard spots to become president----so he suddenly became pro-life, and trashed the very health care he pushed through as Governor of Mass.

The really frightening part of Romeny's personality is that he is a Mormon. This is a man who believes Joseph Smith.

I'll let South Park explain it better:

He IS the best man for the job! Ron wants to get rid of the IRS. He is our only hope of avoiding a financial collapse. He will never win though. The majority of this country only knows and understands what comes out of their boobtube. It's sad.
