    Gambling requires much more knowledge than just book learning, even statistics. Statistics give you a percentage edge but you still need to pick winners. Statistics don't take into consideration when you vary the amount of your bets or going on tilt or other non-mathematical factors.

    Many statisticians don't take into consideration the long losing streaks that can bankrupt a bankroll although they should since variance is a part of statistics.

    only math majors, and it would help a great deal if they know software engineering

    sick gambler didnt waste his time going to ******* college, he was a ******* genius in math, he knew what the deal was but maybe it would have been better if he did not post his secrets on the internet forums because maybe there are guys who great in math and computer programming...
