I figured at least some of y'all are car guys and would get a kick out of a few pictures. The BBORR is an open road race every year from Fort Stockton TX to Sanderson TX.

The Ford GT I was in
Shelby Cobra that my girlfriend and her dad were in
That's pretty cool, how did ya'll do? I'm guessing the Cobra is a replica?
I know some guys that did the Pan-American Race in Mexico several times, they had a pretty bad wreck a couple years back, don't know if they have entered since.
We don't take it nearly as seriously as some of the guys out there so we didn't do to great. It's a race to see who gets closest to a target time and we were around 8 seconds off. The winners are within .010 of a second.
Ya the cobra is a kit that he built. We actually did go see an original that an older guy has stashed in his garage.
no wrecks this year, 2 cars caught fire and a few others broke down.
The Cannonball Run is still going, sort of, it's now called One Lap of America.
It just ended this last weekend. It's all legal now, they drive from track to track and race, one new track a day for 7 days.
The gumball rally is different. It's a bunch of celebrities and super rich guys driving across multiple countries and last I checked isn't legal. It starts on the 23rd or so I believe
they make a dvd every year of the race. It's fun to watch these rich people use the cars for what they were meant for and have fun with em. And it's always a good time seeing someone getting a ticket for over double the speed limit and just laugh it off
