Man, DSI's Poker software is weak!

It is surprising how bad it is is. You would think they would open a free account on Stars or FT and they just design their software to act in a similar fashion........

    Just saying....

I lose my connection more frequently with AP/UB than DSI.
I guess my biggest complaint with DSI is it is a secret what places and prizes will be given out until registration ends. I prefer how Pokerstars shows that based on these amounts of players, this is what the prize schedule will look like.

DSI software is archaic. They really should join a network so they get more players to play against.

For me, besides that there is not a lot of action/tables/tournies..... The layout/graphics in both 2D and 3D are really distracting. It is sometimes hard to follow the flow and easily see where the button/action is.

Overall, it is like what Pako said, the software is just old/ugly and hard to to use (i.e. archaic).

I agree 100%. Bookmaker/DSI Poker room is the worst room there is. The graphics are terrible, tournaments take forever to fill up(if they ever do), and it feels like Im playing a PC game from the early 90s. Its the exact reason I rarely play on these 2 sites.

That is also the only negative thing I would have to say about DSI poker. All the details of their tournaments are very limited and vague in general. I wouldn't even know what exactly I was buying into on half of them.

There roulette software is worse(not that i recommend it) but I was pretty hammered and there was no action available so I hit it up.

Probably 3/10 rolls the game would just freeze and your bet was nullified, I call support and they tell me oh thats normal, just refresh.

    Really? Just refresh. Lol.

I try to stay away from online casinos.

Ya I have been dabbling in the $0.50/$1.00 and $1/$2. Right now it is too early to tell if it not "new-guy" luck, but it is working right now.

not a lot of tables so not a lot of choice though.

I would say the general profile of these players is tight/weak with some that are aggressive and some that are passive. Not a lot of splashers....

Also, I have went deep in two deep stack tourneys (placed 2nd in a $13 and 5th in the $25 on consecutive nights!). Pretty good value for tourneys and not the massive fields of the big rooms.

One other thing, they appear to be on the same network as Doyles Room as last night I played in the $5k ($27.50 buyin) bounty tourney that had Mike Caro, Pam Brunson and Angela Brunson. I was seated at the table with Mike Caro but I had no chance to get him. On a couple of hands I was pretty unlucky but otherwise it played like the others, you will do well by playing solid poker with your fair share of hands holding up/hitting and if really bad calls are not made against you. Only made it ~50th spot on this tourney.

    Cheers.
