why i played?....i was bored once, wanted to try my luck, and once was invited to try a turney for free to test software which of course froze on me with no points awarded after
and i didnt know u can win cash playing sbr sportsbook, maybe "cash" plays, which still require rollover if im right, but not sure if u can actually win cash, and why call me an idiot, there are absolutely nothing stupid in my remarks unless u still believe royal flushes just rain from a tree and santa lives on a north pole....get a grip man
Maybe idiot was a little harsh, but you clearly haven't checked out wat exactly the SBR poker is all about or wat it offers. You could potentially win $500 and 20,000 betpoints.

i know,,,, except non pros pay 15 a try and i only see pros play non stop, my odds were slinm and i dont play low odds, not ready to be a pro either

Don't sell yourself short.
If SBR were to rig something, it would be to have less royal flushes, not more.

each satellite pays top 5 100 - 500 betpoints, if you win 1st in a satellite you get a seat to saturdays tourney
sbr poker is kind of a joke. You just got to laugh it off like any online poker. I probably go in with the best hand 80 percent of the time or so get called by some donk and they hit and win the hand. Its a joke Poker especially online is 99 percent luck.
But i love SBR greatest forum on the web. For them to put up contests like this for free is great.

straight flush draw losing to a royal on the river...
exactly....i had a similair experience....2 spades on board, im holding Ace of spade and a 2 of spades, community gets dealt two spades on flop (J,K) i raise small, guy calls........ i catch a flush on next hand....raise again, note ALL-IN.... guy calls and catches 10 of spades on river giving him straight flush(9-K) to my Ace high flush....i thought i had a winner, and did have a winner when i call him all-in, until the river garbage.....Problem with this is not the fact i lost to a donk fishing, but because i keep seeing ROYAL flushes pop out like candy in a store, and do not want to play if the software is rigged to make ppl see these ridiculous hands OVER AND OVER AGAIN.....I'm sorry....i am a good and patient player...always playing my odds right, but i will not play a game of hoakie with a computer thats just not my style.....At first i thought THE GUY GOT EXTREMELY LUCKY, and took my loss as a man, but to hear how many ROYAL FLUSHES SBR keeps handing out, made me realised this can happen expanatial number of times, to the point where your playing skills are affected by the program, and NOT MY OWN PLAY....
I can live with bad beats, once in a while....they are going to happen, but i will not risk my points playing a JUICED GAME....I MAY AS WELL PLAY VIDEO POKER, WHERE THE MACHINES WOULD GIVE YOU SOME CRAZY ASS CARDS LIKE THAT ALL THE TIME. Yeah, I haven't been at a final table since I won one a spot in 2nd week!Total bullshit if you ask me. Every hand I'm knocked out with a higher pair or I'll get 2 pair and some donk hits a set against me. Doesn't matter if I play loose or tight, the outcome is still the same. Meanwhile you got newbies hitt'in royal flushes all over the fuk'in place! Some luck ass shit, or is it?
Yeah its brutal but that's online poker for you. As I type, QQ < JJ on PS, I just woke up.
I average a bad beat every 5 minutes or less.

Pretty much, I've made about 8-9 FT's and am now just at the point where my KK's are getting 4bet shoved by QTo and losing.Yeah, I haven't been at a final table since I won one a spot in 2nd week!

If you watch a table, 23 hands will go and 17 of them will be bad beats.
Some situations are already decided, if you AK on BB and big stack shoves into you/raises and you are on the bubble. He has 910o, you have about 1% of winning this hand.
Come watch me play and you'll see a lifetime of beats in one days worth.

I'm a big proponent of the 'online poker is a joke' camp, but I think it's more like 80% luck/20% skill.
You need luck to win the tournaments but also have some idea of when to bet and when to fold.
to me, poker is not real unless it's played in person and without the ridiculous sunglasses people wear.
The whole skill of it is to read your opponent, especially his eyes. None of this hiding behind computer screens or glasses nonsense.

Agreed, it is rigged. Don't know why but it is. 2 weeks ago I went through a stretch where I couldn't win a hand no matter what. That lasted all week long. Then I finally started getting some cards again. Now 3-4 days ago somebody made one of the worst calls I've ever seen on me and of course got lucky hitting his "pair draw"

The dude that sucked out..is a super fish at poker. I could post another 30 hands like this that has happened in last 3 days alone while playing 1 table..the odds of this is huge..
also, the royal flush in every 30k hands..well..how many have there been..10 or 11 since promotion..look at the hand history number in right hand corner..do the math...lol.
Sorry to hear this....im with u a 100%...One thing is to lose on a suckout, bad call, etc.....another, to keep playing when the hands being dealt are UNREASONABLY STACKED. i felt it from day 1 i played here, and being a quick learner I stopped before i could amass big losses. Sur some of you might want to defend this....but THATS BECAUSE YOU NEED TO COMPENSATE FOR YOUR OWN CRAPPY POKER SKILLS....Me personally, I'd rather depend on myself to win....If i didnt, i'd be sitting in the casino room pulling the one armed bandit by his rooster
