    I always get beat by someone with 2 posts at SBR and 50,000 chips. And these guys don't chat at the table. Feels like playing against a machine.

    Yea? The avg tourney has averaged 150. The non Pro's make up an avg of about 20 of those. I thought the ratios were fine but I'll get both eyes on that. We can make a rule that non Pro's have to have joined 30 days prior to playing any poker so we can have time to net them in routine check points.

    Since the satellite tourneys are every day during the week, making them turbo tournaments might be a good idea, having the blinds/ante accelerate at a 2X pace.

    Lets see how it goes.. we want it to be a really fun game and not have blinds choke guys. The idea is to limit each satellite to 60 players so with just normal blinds progression we hope each tourney will last about an hour.

    Bobby, yea you can play in more than one tourney even after you have won and secured a seat for Saturday. SBR will award anyone who wins more than once an additional 1,000 points for each additional win. But the second place player will be the official satellite winner and advance to the Saturday championship round.

    i guess ill have to show up in feb to make some easy coin but serious john can you keep the blinds lower and longer time limits on when they go up because the last 4 or 5 tables in the tournys now are mostly all in fests and no poker skill watsoever . Lets play more poker than just all in fests

    i like Arsenal's suggestion... put more restrictions or more expensive for non Pros... 10pts isn't that big of a deal to enter imo.

    Yes that is one very important concern we are hoping this tourney format addresses. Because there will be 3 daily tourneys, limited to 60 players each, there will not be the need to accelerate the blinds like we have to when there is 180 guys playing.

    It will be a better game because each tourney will be much smaller.
