    So far I would consider all the answers here, pretty weak, sorry guys. I feel that the sites that have a Malta license are the safest as they all must meet the following provision to keep their gaming license.


    40. (1) A licensee shall keep players’ funds separately from
    the licensee’s own funds in a Clients’ account held with a credit
    institution approved by the Authority.
    (2) (a) The funds in the players’ account, including funds in
    transit or in the process of being cleared through the
    banki n g s y s tem or by c r e d i t c a r d p r o c e s s ing
    companies, shall at any time be at least equal to the
    aggregate of the amount standing to the credit of
    players’ accounts held by the licensee

    This makes it impossible for them to close and disappear with player funds, as has happened with sites such as Jetset, Jungle, Artic, Battlefield, Eurolinx, PokerAvenue. I am not sure what all poker networks hold one of those licenses, but I know Everleaf, Melita Gaming, Entraction do.
