Ignitions awful Customer Service/Way they go about things

Ignition disabled my account on Saturday for a reason I am unsure of. I tried contacting them several times yesterday to clear up the situation, and no one was available to help me with this. Why disable my account and tell me to contact them at my earliest convenience, and then not be available on the weekend. And if you think live chat will help, LOL, you are in for a real treat. Even if you call in, they just give you some vague excuse for why they can't transfer you to the correct department. Or they will flat out tell you something that is completely false just to make you happy.

Here is some more info on this whole run around.....The service reps are not very competent.

I got a random email early Sunday morning that my account had been disabled and to call the accounts team at my earliest convenience. So, as requested, I gave them a call early afternoon (11am) on Sunday. I also wrote them an email. I was told that the Accounts team was all busy on call with other customers, and I could request to be called back with 24-48hrs. The guy also said I can try and call back 30 mins later. So thats what i did. It's Sunday, I planned on playing poker all day on Ignition and BOL. 30 Mins later, I call back, the service rep puts me on two 5 minute holds and comes back with the same answer. They are all busy. Gave me the same options. So I gave it an hour and tried again, and yes, you guessed it, they are all busy assisting other customers. I repeated this pattern every 30-45 mins from 1pm to 8pm.

Was fed the same BS about how they have all been slammed with over phone calls. I decided to live chat and that Customer Service Rep was no help either, however, she asked me what time I would like a call back scheduled for. I said the earlier the better, they get in at 9, have them call first thing in the morning.

Well, 9am this morning came and went. NO call. Just called in at 1030 this morning, and guess what? I was put on 3 separate holds while she tried to connect me, only to tell me that, the accounts team were all tied up on phone calls with clients. Its concerning, because I requested a cashout Friday night, only to have my account disabled with no explanation, and can't get a single person on the phone to find out why or what is causing it. I guess I'll just sit around until they get around to calling me back. Do they even have staff (besides the level 1 service reps) working on the weekends? If not, they shouldn't be taking action or running poker games.

Is there anything I can do to expedite this?

In general...I think it's poorly run there.

Ignition locking me out of Account of $850 in funds

Well I finally was informed as to why my account was abruptly disabled over the weekend. Only took 2 days of non stop hounding to get an answer. They started asking me about another one of their players who I share a last name with (he's my 2nd or 3rd cousin). I was told since he has a negative balance on his account, that I cannot access my account until he clears up his account. I'm not even that close with him, I'm not sure how much he owes, and we don't live together. Not sure how this is my problem. This is pretty ass backwards, its my responsibility to help them collect their debts from my second cousin? If not, I'm on the hook? Makes sense Ignition! About as much sense as the latest poker client update. I texted him and told him about it, but its not really my business or responsibility to order him to pay his negative balance off.

Can I file a complaint with an issue like this?

Have you ever played at the same table as him?

If there is no reason to connect you other than being cousins, then it's obviously not fair to penalize you.

I'd guess (hope) there would be something else raising their suspicion to act this way. Or maybe they were just testing you both to see if they can see any more evidence.

If you know you have no betting connection to this guy, i'd be confident it will be sorted out in the end. Plus they are not acting like they are certain from what you have said as well.

I never knowingly played at the same table as him. I'm sure the records would show that.

After two days or trying to speak with the Account Specialist team, I finally go through. They were like we have some account verification questions for you, like to verify my account, but then started asking me questions about him. And it was like they already had planned this whole thing out, before I could answer they'd say, so yeah, hes got to resolve his account before you can do anything with yours. I even said, why would that have anything to do with me, and they said because we were related. Hard stand, if I wanted to cash out my money, he had to take care of his negative account. I tried to ask how much it was, and they were like we can only talk with him. Just total nonsense.

I filed a complaint, I appreciate your insight man.

I hate to be pessimistic here, but when i read this it screams you opened an account and after a deposit you lost it all and charged back the deposit (how else do you get a neg balance). So instead of paying your debts, you open another account hoping they wouldn't catch on, and now it's time to withdraw and you have been caught red handed. Close to the truth or a tenny tiny bit off?

If I end up being wrong here sorry, but this exact scenario" (my brother/cousin/uncle) also has an account that's in bad standing, why does it effect me?" is the common thread, when in reality it's the same person on both accounts trying to dodge their responsibilities.
