Notice: 3 Make up Poker Tournaments
We are aware that there were issues with 3 of the Poker Tournaments from Tuesday and Wednesday 6/15 & 6/16 at 7PM & 11PM.
Points will be adjusted to correct the totals at the end of the qualifying to reflect the correction.
To correct the problem we are scheduling 3 make up Tournaments this weekend.
This will allow any players who wish to participate the opportunity to schedule a time to replay the tournament.
Saturday 6/20 @ 7PM
Saturday 6/20 @ 11PM
Sunday 6/21 @ 7PM
Probably not feasible but any way to limit to those who were actually affected by the messed up tournies. Otherwise you will guys that played the 3pm now popping into these as well and thus just getting two-three extra tournies.
Also, previous action dictate that you may want to address how many tournies can be played.

hey, I was in the 3pm trnies, but did not actually play any poker in them..... having work issues arise I was forced to let it ride early so as not to affect the real players by autofolding into the money with the chips I won in the first five minutes....
another I was on the phone and couldn't be distracted with the damn poker tourament, so i busted out.....
Plus, I was counting on SBR throwing out the entire week's results, so didn't want to waste time on the 3pms anyway.......
will I be "player's only 69'd" if I play in the makeups?

Are all 3 open to registration for players or can you only play 1/3 tournaments?

For those effected on both 6/15 and 6/16 (2 tourneys) -- can those players play in any 2 of the makeups? Or just 1?
It's the same rule as the dailies. So the day with two tournaments, 7pm and 11pm, you can only register in one or another. The day with the one you can play.

So if people have badges from the 15 or 16th, then they should NOT play a makeup tournament for that day. Can I have my 3200 chips that I had in last nights 11pm before it wet out?
I believe those points will be removed from the standings so I would think they should be ok to play for a chance to add to their points total

I was assuming the opposite. That he just meant the 3 affected tourneys he mentioned. Or else he would have mentioned all tourneys on those days and scheduled 3 on each day on the weekend to make up for them.
For months now, going back to mike's famous thread, badges for the Monday 11pm (and I believe -- only Mon 11pm) have not been issued. On Monday the 15th I know of 6 or the 12 11pm cashers based on the standings posted before and after monday's trnys. None of them have badges. The pts won and total cashes show in the standings.
You can't go by badges.
hold on a minute, please tell me sbr isn't allowig the autofolders/angle shooters that actually cashed in these bogus, defective trnyies to keep the pts they won in them
if they do (insane), then they should't be allowed to play in the f'n makeups.....
i think it's obvious that sbr will be deleting the bogus cashes

O/U on angleshooters playing multiples or playing when not affected by the recent problems?
I haven't played all week and wouldn't take the spot of someone who was screwed, but recent history tells me there will be a few who dgaf. SBR should remove the tainted events from standings but let winners keep the points and call it a day. Does anyone think 2 days of problems are affecting anyones chances in the months long contest?
I recieve a badge for roughly 3/4 of my cashes lately and doubt I'm the only one. SBR has access to the logs, they're not having JJGold count everyones badges to kepp score

Yes, this may make things worse not better. I actually cashed in the Monday 11 PM tourney (albeit didn't play much given the issues, just blinded into the $). Does that preclude me from playing? I assume it should not since that tourney will not actually count towards the standings?
if it counts toward the standings (the earilier trny, that is), of course not; if it doesn't count, of course you should be able to play .........

Couple questions...
1. Even though the software screwed up both days for me... one of the days I was lucky to take 2nd place when the software finally worked. Am I allowed to keep the 2nd place finish? Or are you voiding everyone who placed both days? Just wondering how you're scoring it?
2. Or is this just an extra "add on" for point totals? Basically... you're keeping all of the scoring both days. But in addition... you have another chance with these extra tournaments?

Be advised, there was no scoring for any of the top 12 finishers in Tuesday's nights (6/16) 11pm ET tourney.

So I go from a win to not being able to play at all? Why not just extend the contest 3 days during a normal week?
This won't ever come off as good but some people have active lives and aren't playing poker in the afternoon on a weekend
