Play the 3pm if you have a chance.. no issues with it at all yesterday, whereas the later ones have had issues 2 days in a row now I believe.

these disconnect issues present a true "carseller type quandry" for me.....

ie, play in the 3pm with no disconnects and certainly get taken out by some off the wall bad beat, or play the 11 pm and perhaps luck into a wussywaves type finish by virtue of eveyone else being disconnected such that I log in and out enough to play a few hands and actually make the money..........

Back with the GI Joes. I had fortune of getting on just in time 5 handed and miraculously not dcing . Big had a huge lead but my hands held up.

I agree. Canada having a team that still hasn't filled completely is a joke.

I'm at 1775 right now, not even on either US team yet I would be 7th for Team World and 2nd for Team Canada. Can the extremely low point Canadians even be counted on to show? If they only place once a month, they probably aren't playing in too many tournaments in the first place.

While I know I will make one of the two US teams, it's pretty harsh to keep a US player out when they play almost daily in favor of a Canadian that played a few times, finished 9th once, and made it by default

World had the same problem in previous formats, but you can't count people out simply based on their point totals. Many here wouldn't play as often as they do if they were sure they would make a team, just as Canadian/World players would play differently/more often if the competition was stiffer.

The format is disproportionate to the geographical makeup of player base, but it's always been so, and far worse before. We can onyl hope SBR shifts to a draft format as DS and others have suggested one of these years

Ok, how about after the 3pm? I'd say we could go to the 5/10 1k max buyin but that table has been removed, so we'd have to stick with the lowly tables

Also, I said it's a joke that Canada doesn't have a full 12 players yet, and it's a month and a half in. Didn't say the Canadian players were jokes. However, I'd be fine with playing you heads up if you'd like.

If you think there are a significant number of SBR Pro Canadians playing and not cashing at all, you are fooling yourself.

There is likely only 10 SBR Pro Canadians even playing poker here so it has nothing to do with any joke nor the amount of time the contest has been on.

That's where I believe it's a joke, that if you're Canadian and actually want to play in the World Cup then you make it by default, pretty much. There may end up being one Canadian who gets some points but doesn't qualify. So 92% of Canadians that play will make it in that scenario.

Then you look at Team USA/Confederates and, to a lesser extent, World and you must play nearly every day to have a chance.

Not saying whoever makes it for Team Canada isn't good, just stating that you have to actually earn being on the other teams, while you just have to show up to make it on Team Canada.

Just feels like it diminishes things for the other teams when you have to play frequently, but if you live in Canada then you could just join a tournament every day, not play a single hand, get blinded away and you'd probably make it with a single 12th place finish.
