4/30 poker is back online and legal!! Anyone deposit yet?

First legal online site up and running in the USA!! Nevada only so far.

    It's about time.

Deposited a nickel and have played a little. Not much action yet. Should be a few weeks for the word to get around and get some play.
    Horrible software, very slow.

Anyone in Vegas on there yet?

    We'll see how it goes.

Yeah, this is pretty convenient. Don't know how it's getting taxed when you go to the casino to cash money out?

    Will be interesting.

No good action at all as expected. Bunch of broke grinders will be the first ppl depositing anticipating money to be made. Going to be a good month at least until it's worth playing I think. Once they start advertising and doing commercials.

I'm cautiously excited. I'm more interested to see how much rake is going to go up and if it will still be profitable. The games were getting tougher and tougher leading up to black friday, with all the access to all the training sites and software.

When is Stars getting back into the US market is my main question. That's when I think I will feel good about giving it another try.

    Doubt it.
Most people don't live in Vegas. Most people in Vegas rather play Live anyway.
Poker already lost popularity in the U.S., fish have dried up and moved on.
Yes there are a lot of desperate who want to play poker online but those numbers were already dwindling when Poker Stars was available to them.

Playing against a bunch of robots is not that fun for majority of people and that's who will be playing at most of the "tables"
The volume will never be as big as Poker Stars used to be, ever.

Worst poker action in the country is in Vegas cash games sir. No money, NO action whatsoever. Dry as it's ever been. I don't even play cash games here. Tourneys only. Only chance to make any kind of money in a casino these days.

the number dwindled not because people lacked interest in online poker but UIGEA.

but i agree, i doubt online poker in nevada alone will create some explosion as stated.

it has to be national or at least get california involved, player pool in nevada is too small...

Somewhat agree....love the pokerroom in hollywood columbus more than vegas.....the slow pace of most of the game in Vegas is a joke...

Usually playing 1-2 there is alteast 1-2 piss drunk players slow playing and playing "rounder"...thinking for hours on end...

High stakes...you get more quality players so the grind is more tough....hard to find a middle

They will have a deal with california and several other states in no time. This site is legit.

Yes the Fertitta brothers are part of UFC. They lost there shirt a few years ago when they tried to bill a mega resort once the economy tanked in 2008. But still of course major players in vegas

Benny you are right action in LV is brutal, it is because of the blind structure. In vegas you can buy in for 500 and play blinds of 1-2 Places like LA the blinds are 3-5 and even 5-10 when you buy in for 400 or 500. It goes without saying when you only pay 3 dollars an orbit compared to 8 or 15 in LA you can sit around and wait for the nuts.
