I can only play for 90 minutes, so if I finish in 20th then I am happy.

Having said that, I would love to lose my chips to someone in the top 20 would can use them to win something nice! So I am warning everyone htat I am going all in with shit ALL OF THE TIME> SOrry if I give out a bad beat. If I somehow get to 15000 points, then I will just blind out till the money

in defense of the guy tatddy, he didnt think that he was on a draw at all

He had ace-king and he had the nut draw, but he was the one who went all in trying to take down the pot on the turn. I am sure that he wasnt expecting a call

There is no defense for shoving in 100 big blinds at level 3 in a "big" tourney. He could have bet the pot. Even sicker since I had 2 of his outs crushed with the up and down SF draw.

His calculated outs were actually 9, not 6. Also he had to figure another ace would help him with no straight possibilities on the board and maybe even a king...

Shipping it like that was kind of strange but standard for SBR poker... He had top pair + best kicker so it's not like he went all-in with strictly a flush draw.

In poker it's best to think about what the other player *might* have. So I've heard. Shipping it allin there with no information? And I don't know what you mean by "calculated" odds. He had 5 outs. Not sure how he could somehow "calculate" anything having no clue what I had.

    Anyway gl to all.

I agree the ship was strange.

Exactly, he has no idea what you had, so how would he know that two of the clubs would actually give you a better hand than his potential ace-high flush. I'm saying he had the best top pair and as insurance he had to figure there were 9 outs that would lift him over a set, for example. In reality he didn't have 9 outs but when calculating pot odds you obviously don't know if your opponent is holding one of your outs...

blanko randomly shoving all in with bad hands

this time he shoved all in post flop. I had flush draw and straight draw, so I called

turn and river didn't come through. Oh well.

Point is poker is a game of obtaining information. Could have bet 900 instead of 5K and left himself with tons of play. Shopping there you're only getting called if you're losing.
