so to confirm, non-pros cannot transfer pts, therefore they cannot repay loans?

Non-pros can only transfer two points per day period. ANd its not 2 points per day/per person its two points per day period. SO therefore even if you won bet and quadrupled your bankroll you could still only pay back 2 pts per day. So a 400 paying back 500 would take 250 days to repay. Most people will not take that chance because odds are you get bored with it, decide to quit paying or whatever.

So in short, if you want to be able to borrow and real amount of points then you need to become a pro. Otherwise there are a few lenders in the points forum that will do 20-30 point loans (myself not being one)

Honestly though going SBR Pro has a lot more advantages so that would be your best option if it is feasible.

Can I use my existing pinny account, or do I have to create a new one and deposit an additional $200?

I believe it is a new one. If you click under the become a pro under your avatar then you can get a better list of rules (they have changed recently)

Since you became a member back in 2010, you might be able to use your existing account to become pro. PM Lou and ask him.
