You are an addict rather than a gambling addict. Your likely root of your problem is an obsessive compulsive disorder, (OCD). This is fairly common. I am not in any way mocking or denigrating you. Quitting gambling won't solve your problem because you will find something else to replace it. Gambling is merely the current symptom of your addiction problem. People who quit 1 OCD outlet invariably drift over time into another more destructive outlet. Seeking treatment for OCD rather than gambling would be my, (ignorant and uniformed), advice. Good luck.
