    How does tennis vary so much set by set?

    I bet $50 on a +1100 guy.

    First set he loses 6-3, then wins the 2nd set 6-2, now in the 3rd hes down 1-0 and 40-0 on this point

    He was dominating the 2nd set, how does it change so much/fast?

    Concentration levels, simple as that. Very easy to let up after winning a set by a wide margin or losing energy after winning a tough set.

    What on Earth would possess you to stick someone who was paying maybe $1.05 in a parlay? There is seriously no point in doing that money wise, especially in these smaller tournaments. He doesn't bring up your odds enough to make the risk worth it. This match is a perfect example - a close three setter for that much chalk? Not worth the stress.
