Wondering if the poker of bookmaker is any good, is the layout of the poker room and software nice? Lots of dead money on the site. Looking for another poker site. How would you rate bookmaker's Poker Room on a scale of 1-10?

They are on the true poker network you can find value in the overlay on there guaranteed tournaments
They have a 10k on Sundays for $55 if you play level headed and don't get unlucky you will cash
i rate them a solid 6

Worst software in the business. Bookmaker poker never tells you how many places pay out in tourneys. At Pokerstars they show you if this many people plays then this many places pay out.

It seems like such a small % of the site is 5 dimes so no way 5 dimes could have a poker room by themselves.

Yeah it sucks. It's cool sometimes if you stumble home drunk at 2am and want some action, but the software is very ugly and slow, hardly anyone plays the Sit N Gos or tournies, pretty dead.

deposited some $ there a few months ago and would never play there again. the amount of phony things i saw on that site within a few weeks was unbeliveable. dont give them a dime of your money

maker and 5 dimes, i believe that those sites shares the same soft.
the room activity is very strange.
i play there my 200 dollars won freroll, did well over 3 weeks up 500 for a total of 700
then in a matter of days i lost it all in a very strange circumstances.

It's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Yes the software sucks, but a lot of weak competition and enough tournaments to be somewhat relevant. You might also be from a certain state like myself that cannot play at the major sites...

Interesting that 5Dimes is leaving the network. I've wondered about the viability of the network with the average number of players there. As mentioned here, the tourneys are good. The caliber of player varies widely. The software is not what I would call "slick" but is functional.

I think one of the main problems if you ignore the software, is the web sites on many of the network members often have missing or outdated information. With the number of professionally run poker sites out there, I can't help but think in it's current form they'll have trouble attracting much other than the occasional sports better making a foray into poker, as well as the couple the sharks swimming around taking advantage of the weak player pool.

Example: The rewards/points programs is poorly documented. The points levels and numbers needed to advance are clear, but what benefits are at each level are not. Also talk of a rewards points store, which upon clicking the link you get the everloving "coming soon" message.

I do hope they succeed, they seem to be trying something a little different, as well as having the aforementioned nice tournaments.

i highly recommend you to only play on pokerstars or fulltilt poker. the next best thing is probably 888poker which is pretty similar to pokerstars at a smaller scale

Bookmaker/DSI/5Dimes/True Poker are all the same network and tons of fish. Easy money
