his task isnt difficult, its insurmountable, and people waiting around the corner to attack him are jumping out of the woodwork

he isnt responisble for the state of the economy, the people before him brought it to its knees, he isnt responsible for the war, his predecessors started it and he has to find the solution on how to finish it

the worst part is the health care system, he is trying to give healthcare to the people who cant afford it and instead of being praised for it he is attacked and called a communist by people that dont even know what that word means

Actually the fair housing act which was supposed to give poor and minorities a chance to own a home, was the single largest contributing factor to the sub-prime market.

why? because while the rich pay more in quantative terms, relatively they are not affected as much, if you have 2 billion and get taxed 50% you are still a billionaire

because VAT is the same if you are rich or poor, and for the rich it doesnt really matter, but for the poor it makes a big difference

because taxes paid by the rich end up back in the pockets of the rich, taxes paid by the poor end up in the pockets of the rich too

the US spent 607.000.000.000 (putting in the zeros to make you understand how much money that is) in 2008 on defence(that much money could end world poverty), imagine how many fat cows have gotten fatter from that amount, obama wants to use some of that to give healthcare to the poor and there is an outcry, because the rich are afraid of earning less money

Clinton is the true socialist, not Obama. It was her agenda to reform healthcare. I remember so many doctors being so against her, telling me of her plans of healthcare when her campaign started. I also remember that little meeting she had with Obama closer to the end of her campaign when she realized she had no chance of winning, probably made some "deal" to get Obama through the election with strings attached of course... the health care reform to be pursued (now pending due to it being constitutional or not) and her little position as Secretary of State.

Also, if my memory serves me well, it was the bush administration that lined up the Stimulus plan for the next administration, whoever it was.. giving little or no choice to whomever was to be elected but to follow through on what needed to be completed keeping the real dealers hands clean. If Obama had any balls, or if he was presidential, he would of changed gears once he was elected and there would be no stimulus for the banks. He would of let the smaller banks fail, to be consolidated by the larger banks.. and then pursue to dissolve the Federal Reserve, let the government print its own money while heavily regulating the handful of larger banks remaining to keep the governments money in control.

Obama became president not because he was black, he won the election because at that moment he out of the rest was able to "sell it", whatever it was.. he was able to sell you hope, change, bringing the troops back, stimulus, the economy, healthcare, etc. His marketing team was dynamo, obama t-shirts, buttons, women for obama, "leaked" pictures of him on the beach in tabloids, youtube groupies making clips about him, his website, his book, pay per click campaigns online (with his mug on the home page of high traffic sites like CNN.com), his myspace / facebook.. and of course for the main reason that makes the difference between a good politician and a great politician.. he was able to sell you lies.

browse youtube one day, do a search for "obama lies".. or my favorite "obama lies 7 times in under 2 minutes" to get an idea of him just blowing smoke. There are some other clips of him giving speeches with many phrases/lines coming from movies or speeches given from previous politicians/leaders. Obama would of made a great actor, kinda like Reagan made a great president.

They think the rich should sponsor the poor instead of the poor getting off their fat asses picking up some fukking work boots and getting out and working. They have the same oppurtunities as anyone else. Minorities can get an education and spend less than whites and get accepted to schools while not having the same academic credentials. But because someone is too lazy to take advantage of their oppurtunities, myself and other people who work our asses off on a daily basis to provide more and more have to pay a higher percentage of our income in taxes. Yes that is socialism. Why because I decide to become self employed and build a business from the ground up so I can live a nice life for myself and my family, should I have to pay a higher percentage of my money than ole bubba who decided High School wasnt for him so he left in 8th grade so he could start working 5am-4pm as a ** Donalds fry cook making minimum wage? Its bull shit. People in America should be able to make alot of money without the government getting to put their hands on half of it.

there are people that work hard and make a lot of money, but there are those that earn a lot of money and do nothing at all

and yes there are those that are poor because they are lazy but there are also people that work harder than anyone else but yet are still poor

and not everyone has the opportunity to go to university you know, nowdays to put yourself through college in america you need in excess of 100.000 dollars

i could give you a lot of examples, but i;ll give you one of a person i know, he finished school, went to uni, got his degree, and got a job immediately, he was working for years at a big firm earning pennies while his bosses were getting rich, he had to live with relatives cause he had to choose between rent or food, and thank god that he lives in a country with a public health care system because when something came up he couldnt pay for a private doctor

not everyone can become a private business owner you tool, and judging from your writing i doubt you are one either, you dont sound bright enough, statistically, 9 out of 10 new business fail within a few months, not to mention that starting a business needs capital, which means if you are not rich to begin with then you are stuck to being poor, money attracts money

yes the government can use our money to fund wars all around the globe but god forbid they use some of that money to help out those who cant afford a doctor

i was watching that michael moore documentary, a guy cut off his finger while working, the hospital asks him for 80.000 to reatach it and he cant afford it so he loses his finger, which he obviously needs because he is a manual labourer, but its ok as long as the rich get richer
