It was funny back in the day when he posted his weekly record flat betting $100 pro sports and was almost always losing. The idea being, I suppose, his honesty and that anyone can lose short term. He lost short and long term however. Was a comedy writer at one time. Think he wrote or co-wrote the old HEE HAW television show.
The site did have some pretty interesting info. I did buy a couple of Bob McCune books from him, Education of a Sports Bettor and Insights into Sports Betting. Maybe 10 yrs ago or so. Worthwhile reads.
I emailed him a few weeks ago. I said: What happened to J.R. Miller? He replied:
I'm relaxing....I feel like I'm the luckiest man in the world..... - J. R. Whatever the fukk that means.
