Anyone Have a portable AC -good or low quality?

It's going to be near 100 degrees in NY/NJ and I was thinking about getting one. Portable is the one that doesn't have to go in the window.

Anyone have one? Satisfied or Not? (is it worth buying)

I'm lucky just to have an air conditioner but I want to be discreet about it and not having it hanging out the window--portable air conditioners seem like a "cool" creation

I had an Amcor for a few years to use in my garage and sold it a couple of months ago. It's ok if you don't have any other options but a window unit is better than a portable.

It will be fine in a small room , but venting it can be a pain in the ass

I just bought a LG, 300SQ for my living room. I live in AZ man where it doesn't matter what you have your house is fukkin hot. Venting is a pain, as you run a tube out the back end to a window. Smaller to vent then a window unit but still a slight irritation.
