    Coinbase , help needed! Transactions delayed.

    I’ve been using coinbase for years. Never an issue. The last 5 transactions ( dollar amount irrelevant) it’s putting a delay on the transaction unless I verify my identity right then and there. I have to take a picture of it , front and back then my face. I can’t upload a picture , has to be taken. I never carry my license with me and it’s starting to get frustrating. I’ve updated all my information. Anyone else having this happen? It never used to do this.

    I have been told of this happening recently to another person.

    Eventually they got some email help and CB manually updated the ID check.

    Sounded like an automatic flag that needs to be cleared.

    I haven’t changed anything I’ve been doing with them. Everything is the same. It has to be a glitch and I can’t be the only one this is happening with.

    Travelling to different countries and accessing them could be a reason for the flag possibly.

    would make sense if they see the diff IP's. i can't blame them but their CS is very difficult.

    I spent an hour on live chat and it got me absolutely nowhere. They kept on saying it was for my own protection etc etc. I explained it has never happened, I already have the two way authentication on. They said there is no way they can fix that for me. This is unreal.

    I am constantly on the go but I have been for years and it has never been a problem. I often do Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand in 5-6 days 4-5 times a year, I am always on the go and always have been sending, receiving, with coinbase without an issue. This is a huge frustration now because. I never ever carry any ID with me. I have my passport when I travel of course but always at the hotel.. I don't want to have to take pictures every time now.
