With more than 900,000 votes cast, Bear 747 took home the honors from Fat Bear Week, announced from the Katmai National Park and Preserve in Alaska. Amazing, it was a scandal though. 747 won the semifinal match over 435 Holly despite the ballot box being stuffed for 435 Holly.

747 a.k.a. “Bear Force One” won the title from the rookie 901, who herself is considered the 747 of female bears. They said 901 was so fat they thought her legs were on backwards.

Congratulations to 747, or Bear Force One, one of the largest known bears in the world for a treeeemendous victory.
