He was a first ballot hofer 10 years ago. Now he's one of the best mlb players in history. His stats are gaudy. Best first baseman ever. Best Cardinals player ever. Best Latino player ever. He and Hank Aaron are the 2 best right handed hitters ever. If he would've stayed on the Cardinals we'd be talking about the undisputed best mlb player ever but he fuckked himself in that regard going to that shit Angels franchise. Still a top 5 player ever when his stats are analyzed. If he would've played for the Astros he'd have 800 HRs right now with those cheap ass Altuve boxes where a 300ft popup is a jack. But then again if he did play for the Astros we never would've had the Lidge HR in the 05 NLCS. Lidge is still having nightmares about that. Andy Petitte is still murmuring Holy fukk.
