brewers have a closer in waiting: Williams. He is having a superior season compared to Hader’s, which has been bad.
can’t believe the padres gave away all that for Hader. good trade by brewers, bad one for padres

Bob Melvin said the Padres are giving Josh Hader “a little break” from the closer role. For now, they will use a closer by committee. The All-Star has been scorched for six runs over his last three outings and 1 1/3 innings of work, and as a result, Hader has temporarily lost the closer’s job.

First thing that came to mind:

*On August 15, 1971, Nixon addressed the nation and told them about the decision to “suspend temporarily the convertibility of the dollar into gold or other reserve assets.”
