I'm invested heavily in the US dollar. I think the current inflation is only temporary, and there's absolutely no way a market crash (which is incoming) could really hurt a currency of which 40% currently in circulation has been printed this year. Besides, if they just keep printing more of them, that means they're good, right?

It’s still not to late and you don’t even have to rush, buy it in small pieces and have a goal to own just 1 bitcoin by 10 years. I’ve made over +50k in the last two years with Btc Eth & Ltc. Unfortunately for me & my financial situation. I’ve had to collect those earnings & use them to help make ends meet due to my physical impairment & can not do my day job anymore as a construction/electrician.

I still hold some Btc as of right now when I bought in @ 46k months ago. I didn’t necessarily say the OP was lying, but just wanted a backstory on how he got there, since he made such a massive claim. One of my better decisions of the year. When I got in, TerraUSD (UST) - LUNA's stablecoin, was at #57 on CoinMarketCap. It is now at #26.

It's the #4 stablecoin. Only Tether, USDC and BUSD are ahead of it marketcap-wise. Highly recommend UST when one wants to take profit and put it into a stablecoin. UST will earn ya 20% APY passive income in the Terra Station Wallet. I like that you have control of the stake and not an exchange.

LUNA can also be staked in the Terra Station Wallet. Youtube will have tutorials on how to get going with LUNA and UST.....

Seems that the guys that lose are always switching coins trying to FOMO in. Then they get frustrated when their coin's down and sell early. Whales know how to play into human emotions. I switched over to metaverse tokens in July and August. Then there wasn't any movement and I moved some to the ADA ecosystem and a little others. Facebook changed their name to Meta and a lot of those tokens that I moved went up 100x. The losses always hurt more than the wins. I'm adding long shot metaverse coins that haven't hit such as GAIA to go along with the tokens listed above.

It's not an easy concept to take in. Supply and demand. If everyone sold all their Bitcoin at once, the last guy out would only be selling for a few satoshis. (not counting BTC forever lost).

Exchanges make money on fees, loans and bad traders. Underneath it all, crypto encourages long term investing. As long as the faith in crypto is strong, it will keep going onward and upward. Crypto is still in it's infancy, still onboarding newcomers. There may come a day when the volatility is completely gone but not anytime soon....

Not intended as a ponzi. But maybe its been played by outsiders to be be a partial ponzi.

There seems to have been too much winning to be logically possible. Especially with Bitcoin itself.

Someone logically has to be "printing money" if there are as many winners as there appears.


I think it is starting to become common knowledge that tethered coins have become the vital grease that powers trading on exchanges.

It also appears that the owners of USDT have managed to increase the total amount in circulation by more than 60 billion $ in 2021 with zero proof there really is any US$ backing for it as they claim there is.

USDC operators are also under scrutiny for the same thing.

Congress has a committee looking at crypto exchanges and issues like this right now.

I've only learned about this recently but the story has been bubbling along all year.

Crypto companies have to respond to questions by mid December.


I'm a bit spooked by it for the short term. But am also hoping it does blow up too as I am sure there will be a massive over reaction initially. I'm ready to sell out with the plan to buy back in if/when the poo hits the air circulator.

Not sure enough it will all go down soon to sell out completely. But will take 50% out some time before the end of week 1 January.
