They sure did. I bet them. Errrrr!

Won't be playing the Chargers anymore this season after that loss unless fading. Can't be trusted.

I'm detecting sarcasm there but Mac was on Belichick's draft list radar all along.
I'm told Belichick wanted Fields all along, when the trade up attempts didn't go through his plan all along was to draft Jones if available as his back up plan.

    And he did.

He'll work out there, Bill loves the kid.

    Wasn't sure there.
I said before the draft in my opinion Mac was a 8th to 16th overall pick.
I didn't think he was #2 overall worthy, but top 12 or so.
He's very poised for a rookie QB

He needs a big time receiver, a go to guy to bail him out of trouble.

Field fell in the first round, the Patriots could have easily traded up and got him anytime you dumb shit, the Patriots wanted a traditional pocket quarterback, Belicheck has always preferred traditional pocket quarterbacks.

That's surprising, not that maybe he wanted Fields but that he would trade up for anybody!!

Clearly the New England system is gold for QB's.

Even Matt Cassel looked great in his one season starting there

You see that perfect touch pass for a touchdown?
He's a rookie in the NFL for about 15 minutes now and making finesse touch passes only Hall of Fame QB's can make.
    Kid is the real deal.
