    Heading to Vegas

So I’m playing some tennis in Vegas this weekend. It has been about 7 years since my last trip. Staying at the Wynn and was looking for some advice on good poker games, fun sports books, favorite restaurants. Thanks!!!

Go to the palace station oyster bar

Some people think the pan roast is the best meal they've ever had, I go with the house gumbo. These are large dishes, and worth any wait.

Also, try tacos El Gordo, the adobada tacos are nothing short of excellent.

Cross, have a great time and whoop some ass on the courts and tables!

Wynn has some good games and a very nice pokerroom, you'll probably be good there.

I was reading a article the lure to go to Vegas is not as great as it used to be because your sports books and casinos all over the United States that are beautiful

It’s good to go once or twice but that’s it don’t be narrowminded go to other great places in the USA

My father always told me never go on vacation and gamble because that’s flat out sick Unless you’re not a gambler in the first place and you’re just doing it as a kick

If you get the opportunity, upgrade to the tower suites at Wynn if you're not already booked there. Private elevators, semi private check in, the suites are nice, and you can just relax.

All the restaurants in the hotel are good. Mizumi probably the best.

My favorite place to go for a snack in that area is Luke's Lobster shack. It's right across the street at the fashion show outside the mall. Pricy but delicious.

Seemed like a higher class of people walked on the right side of strip whenever I go. Luke's lobster shack as Jake mentioned is great as is Gordon Ramsey's fish and chips if looking for a quick bite located between the Linq and Flamingo. Must stop for the fish and chips at least once during your stay. Price is reasonable and taste is amazing. Enjoy your trip!

I was in Vegas this spring, good games at the Bellagio. Poker room was crowded even in the middle of the bullshit covid, I was there for 12 hours straight.

I'm heading to Vegas next week for a conference and am excited. I usually make it 1 or 2 times a year. I believe the monorail is running again so you can ride up to the Westgate. They have a HUGE sportsbook there. Caesars book is also pretty big but that place annoys me since it takes about 15 minutes to walk in or out. From Wynn heading south I like the Bally's sportsbook. Flamingo next door to Bally's got chopped in half a few years ago and basically sucks. I think Harrah's and Linq books are pretty small as well (those are between Wynn and Bally's).

Downtown area and Circa are pretty cool. Things are a lot less spread out there and you can casino hop pretty quickly. Some of the sportsbooks up there are kind of quaint. Much smaller but sometimes better viewing if there's a game you like on the main TV.

Off-strip, Southpoint or Silverton are great (and pretty close to one another so if you don't like one it's a 5 minute drive to the other - both are about 10-15 mins straight south of the main part of the strip).

Food deals are generally better off-strip. Prices on the main part of the strip are crazy.

I don’t understand people talking about a huge Sportsbook big deal there’s a bunch of losers in their boss of the time especially Westgate it’s cool like for an hour or two but it gets old

Unreal technology has taken the place of Sportsbook
