My present to the forum: Montreal Canadiens will make the Stanley Cup Finals +350

Colorado may be done this round but if not they are out next. No one is talking about this team even with all the veterans on the team(Staal, Price, Toffoli, Perry)with cup experience and probably some of them thinking this is their last legit shot. Price needs to cement himself and the battle with Toronto was what he needed to get through. Wish I had looked at this much earlier to be honest. Not sure if they can win the cup yet but they are going to be there. Seeing +1100 cup future, could hedge it out in the finals or let it ride at that point. Good luck to whoever takes it

They are on that kind of sneaky roll.

Constantly on the contrarian radar for me.

So pissed they don't trigger more often. It's been an instance where my discipline in betting is costing me money.

    Grrrrrr.

    I don't see it happening.

Colorado and Vegas are playing at a different level than the Canadian teams.

This crossed my mind for a bit yesterday. Colorado will beat them easily though ( at let's in terms of game count).

Would be MTL vs BOS for a classic matchup if this happens

Why? Colorado was+114 to win the cup yesterday. They have lost one game. Vegas isn't winning that series. On top of that Moroni is on Vegas game 4.

Remember they are playing in the worst division. When is the last time a Canadian team went to the Stanley cup? They will be huge underdogs to the avalanche.

They are beating Winnipeg because of injuries/suspensions and goaltending.

Winnipeg is down their 2 top centers right now and playoffs is all about center depth.

Without Paul Stastny the Jets are 3-13 in playoffs. With him they are 12-8. Scheiffele is their best player.

    Tough to overcome that.

Yes but he isn't being tested like he's going to against the Avs or Vegas.

I have watched both series, it's like they are playing completely different leagues. Avs and Vegas are so fast and well coached.

They have zero shot to beat the avs. Vegas is done.

Well, they are the 2 best teams.

What makes you say they are done? Colorado dominated for 4 periods and Vegas dominated for 5 periods in the series.

With Kadri suspended it really hurts the Avs center depth.

They did beat a top-tier team in Toronto which was impressive. It took them 7, but they played with Toronto nearly every game in that series. Problem is though, Toronto can't get passed the first round of the playoffs in any year lately. Choking a lot in playoffs. So, hard to give the Toronto win that much clout based on that alone. Toronto not built for playoffs IMO.

Toronto was missing key players as well. Tavaras entire series and Muzzin for last games.

Exactly. Tavares hurt game 1. That hurt tremendously. Toronto's goaltending not very good either. Grubby on Colorado, Rask, Vassy, etc. are much much better than what Toronto has going there.......

i agree with this guy a lot. he knows a lot of what hes talking about. canadiens are not at that level at all. you can just tell by watching the games. maybe best of 3 series a chance. best of 7 vs veg/col no chance at all

Good discussion in here. I took them today at +425 which was better than I saw when I posted.
Laker- no way they will be +450 against avs. Avs will be -325 at best

Price is going to neutralize avs or Vegas. Montreal is just a bunch of grinders, it’s going to throw both these offensive teams off their game

I really don't think they can compete with either team over 7 games.

In all seriousness when was the last time the team going into the nhl playoffs favored to win it all actually lived up to it? It’s been a long time
