He just doesn't make the cut Fatty.

He's older now, yes accomplished, but he's really not a part of the Wild future.

He'll come in if they thing they need to rest players, like the end of the reg. season after being scratched for the few games before.

Not sure about "resting" the starters during the playoffs though so Parise's career in Minnesota is obviously phasing out.

He's their all time leading playoff scorer and an OT asset

He could play 3rd or 4th line and pp/ ot

He's good in front of the net

    Had 25 goals last year

I know, I said he was accomplished, but it is what it is.

It's an intentional personnel move by the Wild, and not an easy decision to make.

Even the GM, Bill Guerin said he fells bad for him, being a 9 year veteran of the team and everything.

Parise is frustrated too and I'm guessing he is not in Minnesota next season. There is bad blood brewing.

Well...they'll have to buy him out. Noone trading for him, plus he's a Minnesota guy...I mean, he may have a few options but I still think he's got game.

I predict a bitter offseason and potentially an ugly split.

Not sure there is anyone that is going to feel good about this situation.
