    If you could bet the $500 ($450) on the "YES" side that you will lose all the money if you send it in and gamble it, then you'd put the whole $450 on that wager. Hell if there was such a wager and you had $10 grand, then you'd put every bit of the $10 grand on the "YES I will lose the whole $450 if I send it in and gamble it."
