Seahawks -3 -110
the Seahawks have looked bad on both sides of the ball in their last couple of games, and now they have an opportunity to bounce back in a HUGE division rivalry game for 1st place. this Cardinals team beat them just a few weeks ago & they also marched into Seattle last year as 8point underdogs and stole a victory on the road. Seahawks will not underestimate this team again & Pete Carroll will have his guys laser focused and ready to go on the short week. even though they have lost the last two matchups, I do think the Seahawks are one of the few teams equipped to slow down Kyler's scrambling ability with Bobby Wagner & Jamal Adams (who didn't play the first game) lurking in the middle of the defense. the two of them are terrific playmakers with a good nose for the football. they'll look to either spy Kyler all night or use their athleticism to beat him to his spots. the Cardinals rise in this division came fairly quick, but I believe most of that is behind the play of their superstar quarterback/wide receiver tandem. the reality is that defense (especially in the secondary) is not all that good & I think Kingsbury lacks some situational awareness as a playcaller. his decision making in some clutch spots has been questionable during his tenure as head coach. although he is a bright mind in the league he still needs to prove he belongs here IMO. is this team going to march into Seattle and beat Russell Wilson, Pete Carroll & a hungry Seahawks team for the third time in a row? I don't think they are THAT good just yet. also important to note that the Seahawks have never lost three games in a row during the Russell Wilson era. I'll back that stat & take the Seahawks here.
