No late night college football won't be the end of the world since baseball will probably be running into November/December.

Glad i'm not in college this day and age. Online classes are horrible!!! Not good for professional sports to have college sports out for so long

Decisions have to be made Gold. It takes longer to start things up with a revised budget than it does to just shut things down immediately and indefinitely.

Athletes and programs need to plan and they can see the current landscape offers little hope of a united reopening across the country.

Piecemeal conference play with no practice time will not cut it.

The optics of putting sports before classes is also a problem, even if the budgets dictate the need to do so.

it was always going to be no fans if they played this fall.

can't the players still practice/play or is cali shutting anything like that down? (i think they are shutting that down).......

so no pac 12 probably. mwc has 3 cali teams if i'm correct. not that big a deal........ anyway, franklin of psu says other teams should play anyway.

will tons and tons of players do one-time transfer? no idea where that stands. but i'm guessing they won't allow it for the purpose of playing this season elsewhere due to covid........

    WHAT A MESS

On Tuesday, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey joined “The Paul Finebaum Show” to set the record straight on that.

As you can see below, Sankey said the Power 5 conferences are too interconnected these days for it to be realistic for 1 conference to do its own thing:. “I was asked a question, and I think if the entirety is played of what I spoke, when this flared up, is the connection between the autonomy 5 conferences being likely stronger than I’ve ever experienced,” he said. “We’re speaking every day. But, even more importantly, our schedules are connected. So the notion that 1 likely thinks about going off and doing something in an independent way is actually not attached to reality
