NE - TE Rob Gronkowski deadline looming
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Former New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski has until Nov. 30 to inform the NFL if he plans to return this season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fantasy GMs and Patriots fans have their fingers crossed here. It seems like a long-shot as Gronkowski has now moved on to be a TV analyst. When he retired, Patriots owner Bob Kraft did tell him that he wanted Gronkowski back for the team's playoff run. Gronkowski seems very much retired, but a call from Tom Brady might change his mind. It probably won't happen, but a TE-desperate Fantasy GM can dream, right?

CIN - WR A.J. Green to test out ankle Wednesday
Source: ESPN - Ben Baby
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) is 'day-to-day' and will see if he can run on his injured ankle without experiencing swelling on Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to head coach Zac Taylor.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Green was supposed to be back last week but was unable to play. We're excited to see him return to the field...eventually...but we won't get too excited until it seems more likely Green is actually going to get back out there. We'll know more about his status later in the week.

CLE - RB Kareem Hunt to remain heavily involved
Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich
Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt will 'continue to get opportunities,' and head coach Freddie Kitchens expects Hunt's role to continue growing after playing well in Week 10.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hunt played 38 snaps in Week 10 and he got 11 touches (4 carries, 7 receptions) in his first game with the Browns. That's something we should see continue going forward. Hunt has plenty of flex appeal for Fantasy GMs with this role.

WAS - QB Dwayne Haskins earns promotion
Source: ESPN.com - John Keim
Washington Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins has been named the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, according to interim head coach Bill Callahan.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's the only move that makes sense for Washington. Haskins is rough around the edges as a quarterback but he needs time and experience starting in the NFL if he's going to be their franchise quarterback.

PIT - RB James Conner should return in Week 11
Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Gerry Dulac
Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (shoulder) is tentatively expected to return from a two-game absence and play in Week 11 versus the Cleveland Browns, according to comments made by head coach Mike Tomlin on Monday, Nov. 11.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Steelers rushing attack is better when Conner is on the field. When he's back, the Steelers won't have to rely as much on Jaylen Samuels as a ball-carrier. We'll see what Conner's practice status is like this week.

ATL - TE Austin Hooper to miss time
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (knee) will have an MRI on his knee Monday, Nov. 11, and he's expected to miss time. The MRI will determine how much he'll miss.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Bad news for Fantasy GMs here. Hooper has scored more fantasy points at the tight end position this year than anybody else in the league. He's obviously a big part of what the Falcons do through the air. Luke Stocker is next in line behind Hooper, but he's mostly known as a blocker. In crazy deep dynasty formats, we're watching 2018 UDFA Jaeden Graham who might get an opportunity with Hooper down. Graham was a star at Yale, and he's certainly got more of a pass-catching/athletic profile than Stocker.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman to have MRI
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (foot) will have an MRI Monday, Nov. 11, to determine the severity of his foot sprain.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
All Fantasy GMs need to make Brian Hill a priority on the waiver wire this week. Hill is a good runner but he's also a reliable receiver out of the backfield. His all-purpose skill set means he doesn't need to come off the field that much if at all. Rookie Qadree Ollison is a big back who could get some playing time as well if Freeman has to miss time.

IND - QB Jacoby Brissett may start in Week 11
Source: The Athletic - Zak Keefer
Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) likely will be the starting quarterback for the Week 11 game if he is able to be a full participant during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to head coach Frank Reich.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It was bad enough for Colts fans on Sunday that they were chanting for Chad Kelly. Brissett was close to returning last week, but the team chose to go with Brian Hoyer against the Dolphins in Week 10. It sounds like Brissett should be back this week.

HOU - Jordan Thomas designed to return
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Houston Texans TE Jordan M. Thomas (ribs) has been designated as one of the players to return from the Reserve/Injured list this season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fantasy GMs need to be dialed in here. Thomas is a huge target who could dominate in the red zone due to his size and strength combination. The Texans passing game is one to collect pieces of, and Thomas could be their top tight end when he's out there. Monitor his progress in practice and add him if you need TE help in deeper leagues.

CLE - WR Antonio Callaway expected back
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns WR Antonio Callaway's benching was only for the Week 10 game, and he will return to the lineup for Week 11, according to head coach Freddie Kitchens.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Callaway is the No. 3 receiver for the Browns when he's not a healthy scratch. His return means Rashard Higgins would have fewer snaps and less of an impact. We'll see if Callaway and Kitchens worked out whatever went on between the two that caused the young receiver to be deemed inactive in Week 10.

CAR - Carolina claims RB Mike Davis
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Former Chicago Bears RB Mike Davis was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers Monday, Nov. 11, according to a source.

Davis didn't do much with the Bears this year, leading to his release. The Panthers add him as veteran depth behind superstar Christian McCaffrey.

DEN - QB Drew Lock set to return
Source: The Denver Post
Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock (thumb) is expected to return to practice at some point this week after spending his entire rookie season up to this point on the Reserve/Injured list.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Lock hasn't been seen on the field since injuring his thumb in mid-August. He could be the quarterback of the future, but the Broncos aren't going to put him in there as the starter if he's not ready. Lock has to show 'he belongs' with 'quality quarterback play' according to Broncos head coach Vic Fangio. The Broncos now have 21 days to decide whether or not to activate Lock from the Injured Reserve list or shut him down for the entirety of his rookie season.

NYJ - TE Chris Herndon dealing with another injury
Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta
New York Jets TE Chris Herndon (ribs) is expected to miss 'an extended amount of time' with a fractured rib, according to head coach Adam Gase.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fantasy GMs have moved on long ago. Herndon returned from his six-game suspension and promptly injured his hamstring. That kept him out even longer but Herndon did get back to action in Week 10, catching one pass for seven yards. Now, he's dealing with a somewhat serious rib injury. The Jets will use Ryan Griffin as their starting tight end.

TEN - TE Delanie Walker hoping for Week 12 return
Source: The Athletic - John Glennon
Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) was spotted running on the field Monday, Nov. 11, and anticipates returning to action against the Jacksonville Jaguars following the team's bye week.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Walker has been dealing with this ankle injury for a few weeks. The Titans have Jonnu Smith starting in his place, and Smith plays like a younger version of Walker. We'll see if the seasoned veteran is ready to return after their bye.

HOU - WR Will Fuller back at practice
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, Nov. 11.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fuller always has flex appeal (at least) if he's on the field for the Texans. That deep speed is a great asset to feature opposite of superstar DeAndre Hopkins. We'll see if Fuller can practice fully later in the week.
