it looks like shell didnt renew and they couldnt find another title sponsor so it was moved from before the masters to now and detroit got a summer spot

    its just houston open now
changing venues in 2020 and wouldnt surprise me if this tourney gets moved to a different city in the coming years

Houston Astros owner stepped in and saved the event. I think he's basically like a silent sponsor.

Baseball will be a theme at the event. For example they have bases as the markers in the tee box.

i wonder how much the pga pays these courses

someone here has to be rich enough to be a member at one of these clubs

even 1st stage of qschool the club gets 5 figures

though some are TPC courses so do not count

bjerregard might be the best right now

    missed cut last week

but he had a time zone change of about what, 8 fukkin hours? and played the same week (ended 29th in UK and then las vegas oct 3 1st round)

plus uk is alot different than las vegas

he got to houston early i would assume and now be ready

    Lanto Griffin +4500

matt cochran picking him on pga tour website 4 starts no worse than 18th

Lanto Griffin Finished 13th, T11, T17 and T18 in his first four starts on the PGA TOUR this season. He's 12th in SG: Putting, which will be crucial for the greens at Golf Club of Houston. For reference, Russell Henley led the field in SG: Putting when he won in 2017.

I will take Andrew Landry +6600 and Chris Stroud +17500

My neighbor is in this tournament. He is Braden Bailey at the bottom at +75000.

All 3 of the guys above are from my Hometown which is about 100 miles from the course

i just looked at tee times tomorrow

higgs off morning and lucas off in afternoon

i didnt think theyd mix matchups with morning/afternoon

morning tee times generally shoot .5 strokes better i think

giving up a free half a shot

didnt check weather and not going to since not in the game

i was trying to look up the morning/afternoon scoring difference.

the one from pgatour calculates it the wrong way

this one from 2014 only says its .114 or so better in morning

    http://www.golfwrx.com/236637/want-t...lier-tee-time/

since players can now tap down spike marks, there might not be much of a difference

i think i saw something from harvard or stanford where they analyzed this and it was around .5 shots (but maybe im wrong)
